Our Hearts are Heavy

Our Moorish Islamic community hearts are heavy about the horrific incident that took place at the Mosque located in Christ Church, New Zealand. However, our prayers are uplifted in unity to glorify Allah. We extend support and love to our Brothers and Sisters in the faith of Islam during this difficult time, as we mourn all the beautiful lives lost in such a senseless blatant act of human evil. Even in the worst of times, in Islam, we seek the greater good, that the lives lost in hate can bring Nations together in love. May your pain become lost in love that even in death the birth of renewed faith and a genuine love for humanity can flourish among us all. This too shall pass, however, will never be forgotten.
